Pelvic bone tumor in cats Cookie special case at CGS Hospital

Three-year-old Cookie faced challenges with urination and bowel movements over the past four months. Upon the initial consultation, it was recommended to bring Cookie to CGS Hospital Gurugram for a comprehensive examination and additional diagnostics. Hailing from Kolkata, Cookie underwent a thorough physical investigation and various tests on May 15, revealing a pelvic bone tumor.

A same-day CT scan confirmed the presence of a substantial tumor on the right pelvic floor, impinging on the rectus muscle. Under the expert guidance of Dr Vikash and the CGS team, surgery was successfully performed to remove the tumor.

Remaining at the hospital for three days, Cookie's recovery progressed smoothly, and by the third-day post-surgery, she comfortably resumed passing stool. This success story highlights Cookie's journey from diagnosis to recovery, emphasizing the importance of addressing bone tumors in cats, specifically pelvic bone tumors in cats, promptly and effectively
