Rocke, a street dog, arrived at the Pasha Wing of CGS Veterinary Hospital with a severe limp and swelling in his left hind leg. An examination and X-ray confirmed a complete and displaced femur fracture, requiring immediate medical intervention.
The veterinary team performed a complex orthopaedic surgery using external fixation to stabilise the fracture and support healing. For ten days, Rockey remained under post-operative care. To aid his recovery, the team provided pain management, physiotherapy, and nutritional support.
Rockey has made a remarkable recovery and is back on his feet.
